Thomas Brigger’s art is based on an direct, often rough photographic documentation of his surroundings. It always has to be a true interaction, following the idea of “Art is Giving”, the creative’s first Solo Show, presenting 150 snapshot-postcards for visitors to take home.
His practice follows a distinct and self-imposed set of rules. A “process of thought” separating the act of artistic work and it’s resulting artistic propositions as two deeply linked, but still separated entities:
  1.  WORK : “activity involving mental or physical effort done in order to achieve a purpose or a result.”
  2. PROPOSITION : “a statement or assertion that expresses a judgment or opinion.”
